Looks like his left skate is in an odd position, like toe down, and then he slips when he’s hit cause his toe doesn’t get traction. He shouldn’t be begging for a call but it’s odd this is such a big deal. It’s not like he wasn’t hit. I’ve seen people dive, untouched, and not get called let alone fined.

I mean… Ok. He barely embellishes, and shouldn’t be yapping at the ref for a call, but far more egregious examples of diving go unpunished every dozen or so games in this league. I guess because he was already on notice they were looking for an excuse to catch him again.
