Such a cool story that he lived with Super Mario when he joined the league and what a fantastic player and person he developed into. That’s the way a captain leads… by example.

As a ranger fan I hate this guy bc our team can never seem to draft anyone who can even sniff his jock.. as a human, he’s pretty damn awesome.

Oh I hope I’m not too late for this story to be visible.
I did a shoot for the NHL Media Tour two years ago, and during the shoot a light bar fell off the set and nearly hit Crosby, which is a nightmare scenario for literally everyone who was on set.
Instead of being upset, he skated over and tried to help us pick it back up.
We didn’t film with Sid this past year because we had the same set and didn’t need him to reshoot anything. But when he was sitting on the bench, I overheard him saying “that’s the set where a light almost fell on me” with a huge smile on his face.
Genuinely cool human.
