He has 1 fluke goal (TB loss) and 2 assists (Anaheim) with a +3 +/- in the last 5 games. Not sure what the « Kemmel Effect » is other than being on the ice during a hot streak.
He looked great last night.
I know there are expectations for a guy taken 17th overall to come in and be a top 6 forward. If Kemell doesnt develop to that point, I still think he will have a ton of value as a 3rd line grinder, he’s great at hitting and plays hard. His offense has been hot and cold, but having a third liner who gets hot every now and then isn’t the worst thing.
Hes 21 though(22 in a couple weeks), im interested to see where his game will be at the start of the 2027 season.
