   Maybe a check from behind, but the NHL never calls that for some reason.

   Not boarding, because he was already basically flush with the boards; there was no being « violently thrown in » there.

   I think the best bet for a call there is a charge – hard to tell from there if he made contact and the momentum forced him up or not, but my gut there is that he jumped, which would make it a charge.

   I would have been so angry if that game meant anything.

   There was also the missed hook on Zary earlier in the 3rd that lead to the Flames being hemmed in and Zary getting called for a weaker play a minute later.

   How does a 5 minute major subject to review , end up being nothing ?? Refs saw a hit from behind and called a penalty , then had to determine if it was a minor or major , but come to the conclusion … meh , changed our minds. It was nothing.

    one of those calls thats so illogical that it makes me not really want to care too much because the refs can just do whatever the fuck they want. not over the line, offside, highstick, no penalty actually, etc etc. Any event in the hands of a judge or ref is bullshit. 2 linesmen, 2 refs, instant HD video review, and still bullshit.
