If all of the best-case scenario things happen in regulation (all 3 games to go):

    METRO

    2. Pens 96

    3. Flyers 94

    WILD CARD

    1. Bruins 96

    2. Sens 92

    3. CBJ 90

    4. Wings 89

    5. Isles 89

    6. Caps 89

The Flyers would then be able to clinch on Saturday with a win against Winnipeg and a CBJ loss… I think.

Worst case scenario though looks like this:

    METRO

    2. Pens 98

    3. CBJ 92

    WILD CARD

    1. Bruins 96

    2. Sens 94

    3. Flyers 92

    4. Wings 91

    5. Isles 91

    6. Caps 89

Don’t love that lol. Not having the tiebreaker will be very rough in this scenario.

That’s why I haven’t been comfortable yet. People are talking about the playoffs when in 3 days we could be talking about the season in past tense.

  3. Not_So_Bad_Andy

If we take care of our own business none of the other games matter. Need to win tonight.

  4. PaddyMayonaise

That 35.6% swing tonight on Detroit is fucking wild. Gonna be clenching the entire game

  5. WrigleyBum23

Playoff stretch before the playoffs. Must win tonight

  6. Cute-Contract-6762

I really hope we just smoke the wings. Just beat the brakes off them

  7. A 60% swing possible on the night. Talk about the most important game (yet again) of the season

  8. No-Loss6231

Thats going to be tough. Buffalo and Toronto are on b2b’s. Florida beating Ottawa is probably the best odds.

  9. This is what makes it fun! High leverage, meaningful games. LFG LGF

  10. StonewallJackson45

Asking Toronto and Florida to beat their opponents is a hard ask

  11. I find comfort still that at worst today we will fall slightly under 1/3 odds, and that’s if everything goes wrong across the board. Please just win or at least get to OT tho

  12. MightyGahdo

Even with a loss they are still not out of it. Other teams can still tank. Redwings are mid.

  13. GrittyTheGreat

Buffalo played last night and Toronto and Florida both stink. We aren’t going to get any help tonight, so winning our game is extremely important. They have to treat this like an elimination game.

  14. Annual-Ebb-7196

I’m on an airplane for beginning of the game. Hope their WiFi works

  15. doc-mantistobogan

If nothing else we get to watch some meaningful hockey right now. Hope the boys get it done

  16. crafbicycle

Good thing Toronto played last night lol so we can cross out that Islanders scenario

  17. Tyler10274

    90.3%? In this economy?

    Must win, again.

Get back at these fuckers for last Thursday. Got screwed by the refs, Flyers are the better team.

  18. exemplarytrombonist

Well… don’t count on the Leafs to help out much. Otherwise I think we have a pretty good shot at getting some assistance from other teams.
