Donc, avec tous les messages récents des membres de l’équipe Wild échangeant des bâtons avec des fans, j’ai pensé que mon fils pourrait faire la même chose et quelle meilleure chose, et plutôt drôle dans mon esprit puisque cela vient d’un enfant de presque 2 ans, qu’une mini Coupe Stanley ? J’ai des doutes sur le fait que cela se verra, mais mon fils a une collection croissante de choses depuis sa première année en tant que fan de Wild. Nous avons reçu deux rondelles d’échauffement des matchs des Ducks et du Kraken, EK a signé un pull pour lui, nous avons organisé l’événement sur tapis vert et avons fait signer son pull pour bébé par tout le monde sauf Midsy et Gus, et il a trouvé un joueur préféré lors de son premier match de la saison dans la LNH avec Yurov prenant le temps de mettre sa main sur la vitre du tunnel pendant qu’il n’était pas en service. Je veux juste autant que possible commémorer sa première saison en regardant notre équipe jouer.

I think the players might be too superstitious to exchange anything for the Cup.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the players don’t want anything to do with a mini Stanley cup as we approach the post season. Looks great but i could see them not wanting to engage with something like that. Players have their superstitions and they’ve gotta earn one first! Good luck!
love the idea of commemorating the first season as much as possible! that being said, personally, i would not recommend bringing a replica of the cup to a game or trying to offer it to a player. hockey players and their fans are a superstitious bunch, and it’s considered bad luck to touch the cup unless the team has won it. for a lot of players, this extends to reproductions of the cup as well.
players seem to really like artistic/creative signs and candy, so you could try that? middleton just traded a stick for a particularly cool sign.
If you want to get Gus’ attention, I remember him saying in one of those “getting to know Wild players” things that he wanted to learn how to weld. Make him a Wild-themed welder’s mask.

i think it’s better if you have your toddler’s hands painted and let him hoist the mini cup and keep that as a keepsake with his handprints. could always have them paint the mn wild logo as best they can, depending on fine motor skills. it will still be a cute memory and keepsake for you.
just because i think there is zero chance superstitious ass hockey players will be touching that.
