
Reste à savoir si Brandon Hagel jouera un autre match avant la fin de la saison régulière la semaine prochaine, mais l’ailier gauche du Lightning a fait un pas en avant significatif en revenant d’une blessure au bas du corps jeudi. Après le cercle d’étirement qui a mis fin à la partie de groupe de l’entraînement matinal au Centre Bell, Hagel a participé à des exercices avec les joueurs écorchés et blessés de l’équipe pendant environ 20 minutes. C’était la première fois qu’il était vu sur la glace depuis le match du 31 mars contre les Canadiens à Tampa. Obviously we want him back to start the playoffs, but I really hope he’s back soon enough to play at least one more game before then. I think it would be tough for him to miss a chunk of time and then be thrown straight into the playoffs.
I’d rather have Hagel home playing video games for these final games.
I don’t think it’s anything serious at all. I don’t even think it’s a head injury. He seemed totally fine at the bar last Saturday after the Bruins game. No mobility issues, seemed to be in a good mood (and he was drinking which they’re often told not to do if there’s a fresh head injury)
Likely just held him out of Buffalo because they knew there would be some BS and maybe just giving him extra time
