  1. The NHL needs to go to A RELEGATION LEAGUE like in Soccer .
Its the only way to save the Smaller Markets and Keep the Big ones on their toes .
There are plenty of American and Canadian Small cities that would love to have a chance at LORD STANLEY'S CUP .

  2. I always find it interesting when people discuss the players’ and organizational worries about relocation. They are or will be compensated. They’ll be fine. It’s not like most of them haven’t had to relocate before.

  3. The coyotes were a failure for over a decade. The league took them over in 2009. This is nothing new.

  4. How about when a city loses 3 franchises within a decade, all with separate ownership…is it time to blame the fans then?

  5. Arizona had been dying a slow death for many years now.,. Shocked that it took them this long to head out,,, shocked the League even allowed them to play at the sun devils rink for as long as they did… it was kinda cool to see them play in that small arena- gave them a unique experience but overall it wasn’t a good look for the NHL to have one of their teams playing in a 5,000 seat arena

  6. The reality is every business that can not generate necessary revenue is destined to fail. Call it what ever you want, not enough people were willing to buy tickets. The Coyotes have been failures since they arrived in Arizona. Call it what you want the market did not support NHL hockey.

  7. The effort that was put into saving the Coyotes should've been put into the Winnipeg Jets in the mid 90s

That was the franchise worth saving. The Coyotes were a vegetable on life support for over a decade

  8. An MLS team would’ve had a better chance of success in Arizona than the coyotes. I’m sorry but hockey there was a long shot that unfortunately failed.

  9. If a restaurant has a great location, awesome food, and a wonderful ambience, if customers don't show up to patronize it, it is still going to fail, right?
