Way to go, Max. We’re rooting for you here in Hockeytown. Did he say he’s def going back next year?

    Next up: Calder winner

    Happy for him.

  3. petoskey_stone

Hopefully he can help us with a late sign and call up for 2027

  4. CobustBustjack

Gonna be so sick when stevie calls him up to the wings in like 9 years.

    >Plante is viewed as a high-upside forward with potential to develop into a top-six NHL winger with significant power-play utility, often compared to playmaker types. Some scouts had previously flagged his « risk-reward » nature, but his rapid NCAA improvement has raised his value, with some seeing him as a potential « steal » of his draft class. He projects as a « boom or bust » prospect with high offensive upside and elite vision.

Boom or bust, that is exactly what this team needs right now in the system. We don’t need more depth prospects, we needs stars and playmaking. The more pulls at that slot machine we can take, the better.

  6. Want to take a guess who the last two 19 year old sophomore Hobey Baker winners were?

    Makar and Caufield.

18 year old freshmen winners are Celebrini, Fantilli, and Eichel.

    Max is in good company

Other than Bear, this is the guy with the most projectable top six upside in our system imo

Now we should all recognize why Stevie traded a first plus for Faulk. He thinks he has enough forwards in the system

Prospect pipe line sucks, they’re all bottom 6 duds /s

Good to see! Happy for Max!

  10. So our org has this year’s Richter and Baker… so maybe the plan is working. Just maybe.

  11. I love Duluth and I love the Red Wings (even tho the immense pain the cause me)

    Really excited for Max

  12. Problemwoodchuck

The power of baldness has been bestowed upon him early in life

Damn it’s unfortunate Steve is such shit at drafting.

  14. Yzerman gonna trade up to draft his brother in the 2nd watch

  15. SubstanceAmazing5133

I thought we had no real goal scorer’s in our pipeline? Way to go Max. The future

  16. Old-News-3096

Has a Hobey winner ever returned to the NCAA the next season?

  17. Damn, I really didn’t think he would pull it off, he kind of fell off late in the year. Incredibly impressive as a 20 year old.
