@Red Wings de Détroit

L’Est ne sera pas plus facile la saison prochaine.

Les équipes qui se construisaient à nos côtés sont toutes présentes

Était-ce une fois de plus l’extérieur qui regardait à l’intérieur

  1. Oh it will be super easy. We know we won’t make the playoffs so everyone can just relax.

  2. I_Am_Vladimir_Putin

Toronto and Florida are both expected to improve, and none of the other teams are expected to get worse.

  3. Lions-fan4life

I’ve been a red wings fan. But between needing AM radio to listen into the game and the fact that paywalls hide the red wings on tv, im just. Im done. I’ll crawl back when they get in the playoffs. But i can’t take the fact that they give us hope every February only to collapse harder than a planned highrise demolition project in march and try to scrape april together to win whilst relying on others to do a job they themselves should’ve done. I just can’t.

  4. It’s honestly impressive how bad our bottom 6 has been for so long.

  5. magikarp-sushi

I was sayin if the west stays this bad people are gonna riot

  6. Good thing we have a first round dra… you know what good thing I can buy alcohol at the store

  7. And the next funny part about this is

The draft pick will fall in a prime position and we don’t even own it

    Why

Because that’s the way it’ll fricken go

  8. To be fair if Florida and Toronto do get better maybe the top teams do worse? 6 way wildcard tie next season? 💀

  9. Environmental_Law746

Yzerman saw the redwings 5v5 numbers at the deadline and said yup this is fine lol

  10. Excellent-Wonder8431

Fuck bettman and the realignment of ‘12/‘13. You can’t tell me having 4 of 6 OG 6 teams in one division is fair to that division or conference for that matter.

  11. If you go look at the head to head matchups, and you expect Toronto and Florida to both improve, that means they take games off everyone above us. You guys gotta remember that the fucking Kings are making playoffs over us with 21 regulations wins. They’re in a wildcard with 87 points, and you’d need 10 points more than them to have the same position in the East. I’m not making excuses, I’m saying that when your league has 16 teams making playoffs, and it’s not even your top 16 teams, your point system, and playoff format is ass.

Chicago has 70 points and is going on their 7th year of no playoffs, btw.

  12. Jazzlike-Ad-95

I’m not counting on it, but the Wings could still finish with 95 points. Missing the playoffs with that many is wild.

  13. Ornery-Result-2571

The fact that games are scheduled in March every season, i dont have any optimism

  14. TheGreendaleGrappler

Okay but you know damn well come Draft and Free Agency time, a ton of the fanbase is going to develop amnesia and start saying the Wings are a division title contender because they marginally improved their roster and because those fans seem to be unable to understand the concept of other teams also getting better.

  15. ShqiptarInMukhmas

Good think I have a Costco membership for vodka

  16. xXxSovietxXx

Maybe we’ll get lucky like the Islanders and get 1OP. Cause apparently being a mushy middle team warrants a 1OP

Oh wait it’s Detroit so we can’t have that, I forgot

  17. Puzzled_Squirrel_166

    Fire Steve Yzerman!!!!!

They need a complete rebuild. This team is full of trash.. take it out with the GM.

Theres 3 or 4 pieces worth building around.

It’s time for change, please don’t run this back or we’ll be right here next year, again

  18. greythedork12

None of Montreal, Buffalo, or Boston are meaningfully different than us in terms of chance generation, shot suppression, etc. A large amount of the difference between us and them is league-leading PDO (especially shooting% / goals above expected) for them vs among the league worst for us. Pavel Zacha probably isn’t shooting 23% next season. Caufield is shooting 6% above his career average this season; i don’t think he repeats that. Lyon and UPL probably aren’t going to run back being in the Jennings conversation.

It’s not going to be easy, but with a nice retool of our middle 6 and a full season of Faulk and Gibson integrated, we can definitely be right back in the thick of things. This far into a rebuild you’d love to be a lock, but realistically it could be another season where flirting with the top 10 in the league still isn’t a lock in this division, so “in the thick of it” is about the best outlook you can get. We could probably add McDavid and still not be better than “in the thick of it”.

  19. therurrrjrrr

The power of this sub’s unwavering positivity will get us to the playoffs next year, don’t worry lol

  20. EnergyDrink2024

Florida will be back and probably Jersey. Who knows about toronto

  21. I don’t think Boston is the real deal. They’ve delayed their retool for another year, buts it’s coming.

TOR will be in the dumps for a long time more. That team is going nowhere. They had their window it’s over.

FLA will be back of course once Barkov is back to carry them. And I can guarantee you Bettman awards them Gavin McKenna. (It’s happening, trust me).

TBL will probably stay competitive. But I don’t think they are as good as they look this year.

MTL and OTT aren’t going anywhere but up.

BUF could have a set back year next season, but likely keeps getting better.

  22. Slow-Raspberry-5133

We’ll trade you the Red Wings for a bunch of Saskatchewan potash, so we can finally have the wings in the Pacific Division as God intended

  23. SlimCat313

Doesn’t matter. Dont suck. Be consistent. Get an 80+ player

  24. Goldwings13

Need to tear it down. We are built on such shaky foundation it’s unbelievable. Keep Seider and Cat, everyone else should be bought out or flipped for whatever we can get.

  25. Embarrassed-Pause282

When this team got moved to the eastern conference I was exited for potential original 6 playoffs matchups and series where games didn’t stat after 10pm. Never would have thought it would be a death sentence

  26. ThickBootyEnjoyer

Expectations mean nothing. Shit happens, lots of teams were expected to be this year and weren’t, and lots we’re good that we’re expected to be shit.
