7th round pick lighting up a storm! I can’t wait to see his NHL debut.
Why does this dude only play better the higher he goes, nuts if he can keep this going. Absolute diamond so far
I happened to be in Milwaukee so I went to the game tonight. (It was dog night and I sat in the section where dogs were permitted just to pet them, which was great)
The first goal was a tip in, but the shot only happened because he drove the net and caught the defense off guard. They were shuffling around trying to get back in position when Gibson launched one from the point and Fink got his stick on it.
The second goal was a bit of chaos. I’m honestly not sure what happened. He was last to touch it, but was also splayed out on the ice. It was an effort goal, not a skill goal.
There were moments where he was skating better than everyone else, and then moments where he was either out of position or his teammates were and it muddled the play. Not such an overwhelming talent tonight that he has to be called up immediately, but good enough to maintain the hope this guy contributes at a higher level.
