L’espoir des Leafs Ben Danford a marqué en double prolongation pour donner aux Bulldogs de Brantford une avance de 3-0 dans leur match de deuxième ronde contre North Bay.


Eh bien, je voulais partager une bonne nouvelle. Nous avons des enfants à la ferme qui ont du potentiel ! Quelle que soit la fin de cette saison, je suis convaincu que nous avons un avenir radieux. Peut-être que même de mon vivant nous verrons une tasse !

    Danford isn’t going to be the flashiest player, but I think he’s going to end up being a solid NHL regular who influences the culture in a positive way. Happy to see him developing well.

    I liked him at the world juniors. Didnt notice him unless the puck was on his stick and he usually just made the simple play and stayed in position.

    I’ll never understand this Pick. Like I get that he fits a “need” for a shutdown top 4 defenceman. But that need can be filled every offseason or trade deadline. Most teams draft high potential defenceman with higher ceilings, then if they suck, they are relegated to a shut down role. See Ceci, Myers, Ristolainen, etc. The Leafs are like let’s just skip right to the part where we find out the guy sucks.
