This last streak of wins was right after we traded Hughes to the Minnesota Wild
Just watch. The front office is going to use this to say the Canucks are close.

Hybrid rebuild is back on schedule!
Any other season this late season winning streak would lose them a couple spots in the draft, or they’d pile up enough loser points to look respectable in the standings. Even being in the league’s worst division couldn’t deter them from a generational tank job.
Winnipeg was even worse at one point in early January, but while they almost clawed their way back to the playoffs, we went the other way.
We’ll pick 3rd but this journey to the bottom of the standings was really something.

We’ve struggled all season, if there is any chance of high points now this is the one season where finishing strong does not harm us.
