How badly do you want to win this game for the fans sake??? What fan wants to win this game? Hoping the marlies get some good ice time tonight. Stars will be resting guys in a meaningless game for them. This game is meaningful for the Leafs – it is a must lose in regulation.
Leafs need a complete over haul with their scouting and player development. Treliving did a crap job on utilizing their farm team and talent. So many players could have benefited from being called up at certain parts of the year instead of keep trying to use the same players with no results. It was like watching someone trying to put a square peg in a round hole. NOw how much responsibility does Berube take as well? When players were called up he under utilized some of them for sure. Keep playing Jarnkrok for some reason and Robertson. THey basically did nothing after the Olympic break. The whole scouting team and player development needs to be revamped I believe. And the GM and coaches need to be on board with that as well on how to develop players over the course of the year. No more politics and personality bias. Time to win boys!!!
Hayley Wikenheiser would be a good fit as head coach for this soft team.
