If we run out of forwards at least he will be ready.

Damn, he looks more dynamic than I’ve ever seen him in a Habs jersey

If we go far in the playoffs, he might become important still …

Maybe we could rest up Cole for the playoffs and let Laine play a last(?) game.

  5. Can’t have a slacker on every line . there’s only room for 2 slackers on this team 😂😂

  6. Even though he is being paid well, I feel bad for the guy. I’m thinking there is more to the story about why he hasn’t been used or medically cleared.

I feel he still has some role to play before alls said and done

I really don’t understand what’s happening with Laine. I’m genuinely confused.

I wonder what kind of technology they used to slow down the footage so that he’s visible to the naked eye? This is like seeing a beam of light traveling

I wouldn’t mind a few piss missiles from his office

Seeing Laine around the team makes me think there’s a good chance he *doesn’t* want to leave.

Considering how player centered our management and coaching staff are, I just cannot see a world where he’s being sidelined without good reason.

Looking at MSL, his own personal pedigree and his connection with the players, I genuinely believe Marty is able to connect with somebody like Laine more than other coaches. I think it takes somebody like *Martin St Louis* looking through your game film for a player of Laine’s calibre to actually listen and I genuinely believe that’s what had happened.

Marty probably sat down with Laine and dissected his play. Clearly Laine’s skating has been… less than desirable and was definitely a point of focus for Marty and the coaching staff.

It’s pretty widely accepted that Laine’s injuries have fucked with his skating ability. It’s very possible that he hadn’t been able to fully heal or maybe there’s even a difference in training staff/medical team and ours have been able to properly identify and treat whatever he’s had going on.

I know a lot of people think we’re saving him for another team or something, but based on Laine’s own body language and team involvement – I do not see that being the case. I also really don’t think Marty being the coach he is, would not use a player like Laine strictly for business reasons.

I just can’t see it. I think Laine is finally being given the opportunity to heal properly and we will see him play during the playoffs. If it happens, I think it’ll give a huge boost to the team and it’ll make for a crazy storyline.

He looks quicker than before, I’d be down to see him play again, buts it’s kinda too late.

I hope he recover well and for real. He must miss playing hockey.

The hate for this guy is disgusting behavior. Hes done nothing wrong. We currently have floaters on the roster right now just doing cardio yet somehow they a free pass. I hope and wish him success wherever he does find it

  15. He wasn’t Lucky and had tons of injuries. He was working his ass off all summer long until his injury (sports hernia) in October. And mental health is truly a bitch. We tried something, it did not work and we will move on. I hope nothing but the best for the guy and his wife.

The whole system and team is all about speed. He doesn’t have any. Same for Gally.
