I would expect him to sign next year. If not, then you would be a bit concerned. It likely is best for his development to get prime minutes in the NCAA though.

Probably the best place for him. His production was promising, especially considering he played a 3rd line role, but he’s not NHL-ready. Which should be expected since he’s a 6th round pick
Give him another year with top six minutes in college and see how he looks after.

not suprised staying there will help him continue to work on some aspects of his game especially the skating. He still needs to work on his skating if he can improve it we may have something in him.
