Avec le jeu final d’aujourd’hui – une bonne prise/rappel de Sam Woo (podcast LGD). Cela va sans dire, mais Harris et Blitzer sont toujours aux prises ici – ils ont fait un bon coup en « virant » Fitz, mais il était tard. Et maintenant, l’impact cumulatif et l’occasion manquée de cette saison ratée / manquer les séries éliminatoires est encore plus massif pour la franchise des Devils après un événement historique comme la performance olympique de Jack.
Je pense qu’il a également raison sur la distraction du marketing au cours des dernières années – cachant le fait que nous n’étions pas en fait une équipe sérieuse qui a gagné la coupe.
J’espère vraiment qu’un nouveau directeur général/président pourra renverser la situation, mais cela doit se produire rapidement – un défi de taille. Et la responsabilité en incombe à la propriété.

Respectfully to those who feel we have an ownership problem, you’re either a recent fan or you’ve completely forgotten what bad ownership actually feels like. We were going through it before HBSE; constant rumors about being sold and maybe moved to another city, penny pinching on contracts, etc. It is not at all what we are experiencing right now.
HBSE invests in the front office and supports the team in the most important way: money. They pay our players to stay and they pay to bring in free agents. You don’t want ownership who’s firing GMs with reckless abandon; cycling through them too quickly is a bad look and promotes chaos. I definitely agree they could have acted a little quicker with Fitz, but it doesn’t condemn them as owners.
I’m not saying they’re perfect at all, I certainly have my complaints about the arena and certain other things, but thinking they are a big issue is just fans reacting to a frustrating on-ice situation and looking for a new scapegoat now that Fitz is gone.
Great takes here. Jersey jersey was a hollow marketing stunt. Could have had a team with a national brand if we were being showcased in the playoffs. All 1000% spot on!
Just hire a Gm and pres and let them have the keys to hire the HC and lets the HC pick his staff. Fitzy got in the way too much. Keefe most likely will stay with new Gm but really he shouldnt. Rupper also said we should go get Marchment and have a line of meier nico marchment… um why does nico need to PWF wouldnt it make better sense to idk give jack marchment or idk get a better PWF and SNP. something ppl should just not say their ideas out loud cuz that was terrible. We always complain about need a PWF with Jack but nah lets not do that according to Rupper.
In the last decade this team has won 1 playoff series. ONE. The arena experience is third rate. Lou and Shero being canned for no good reasons. The Subban and Schneider moves they pushed for. Not firing Fitzgerald eariler. Of course ownership is the problem; why would anyone with avg IQ think they’re NOT? Have yall looked at the Sixers and Commies with the way they’re run? Same group.
They can redeem themselves tho.
