    Yeah I do and we as a fanbase didn’t whine nearly as much as some the eastern fanbases that are whining about missing this year with more points then a bunch of Pacific teams. I’m so sick of the constant posts about it on /r/hockey.

    For many years prior to this year 95 points was the bare minimum threshold if you wanted to have a hope of making the playoffs.

    This is certainly an outlier.

    Wherever we draft this year, we should feel very lucky to be here more firmly in a rebuild. It would be very hard for Conny to sell one after making it into the playoffs last year. That and a cataclysmically bad schedule to start this year put us in a great spot to rebuild properly.

    The crazy thing will be missing playoffs with 96 and getting 9th overall while this year finishing 4th or 5th last and ending up with the 8th overall pick. We’re cursed

    The steve dangle podcast came on autoplayer on my youtube yesterday and the whining about teams like Detroit missing with 92 points and completely shitting on the west made me roll my eyes.

    They said that detroit is going to miss with the most points in like a decade and i was like, uhhh CALGARY LAST YEAR???
