    Dach was barely on pace for 30 points in a full season. It’s time to come go grip with the fact that he’s really just not that good, specially since he brings no physicality or grit or shut down play to the table.

    .908 for Fowler is pretty unreal good in a season where the average across the league is sub .900.
    We’re gonna have a problem when it’s time to pay Dobes and Fowler their big boy contracts, but that’s a happy issue to have.

    This stat sheet reads like the preseason predictions we make in reddit threads that are always wildly biased and unrealistic, and turn out to be horribly wrong.

    I think most of us even underestimated our players this year.

    It got to the point where we were so spoiled that we got disappointed that our 22-year-old defenseman didn’t break a Larry Robinson record, and our 5’7 forward couldn’t score those last 2-3 goals to get to a 54-55 goal season and get the rocket. Just ridiculous lol

    I mean, outside of Nick last year, we didn’t have a point per game player since like world war 2 or something and this season we have 2 including a 100 point player and a 50 goal season.

    Add to that Hutson with 78 points, Demidov with a 62 points rookie season, Dobes and Fowler taking control in net (maybe not yesterday though)

    It’s as good a season we could’ve wished for considering we are the 2nd youngest team in the NHL.

    Blais with the same points as Veleno in 50 less games is wild. I thought Blais looked good on the 4th line when he was given a chance.

    Wouldnt think this team got swept by philly. Got dummied by columbus etc. Very inconsistent team.

    Best Habs team I’ve seen in my life was the 88-89 team. ( I won’t count the late 70’s cuz I was just a kid). 115 pts. Naslund, Bobby Smith , Chelios, Roy.

    Chelios won the Norris and Roy won the Vezina.

    Sadly, a guy with a huge moustache scored the Cup winning goal at the Forum in Game 6. Lannny grr.
