    Ottawa plays like Carolina and Florida with high end talent. If Ullmark plays well the Sens can upset Carolina. Still a coin flip. Sure Ottawa and Carolina have never played each other in the playoffs. It doesn’t however guarantee Carolina victory. Who’s a more physical team? Ottawa. Who has best shut down line Ottawa. Who has best top line Carolina. Who has the best defense. Sanderson, Chabot, Zub, Kleven, Spence, Mantinpalo..Ottawa. Who has a Tkachuk Ottawa. Thus, is it really uneven?

    You keep saying the Sens are on a "late season surge" but aide from the goalie, the Sens have been playing really really well all year. They have great defensive stats, roll 4 lines, have crazy defensive depth (they had 5 of their 6 regular starters out at one point and still won games). And now Ullmark had been one of the top 5 goalies in the last month.
