I hate Vegas with a passion but I gotta admit I feel pretty bad for Thompson. He gave it his all and made some great saves but his team just did nothing for him
After Oettinger's rough shootout performance last season, it's been so nice to see him out there with poise. Big props to Jake and to Jeff Reese for their work on getting that straightened out.
Loved the commentator's description of Thompson's defence on the Robertson attempt: "An absolute wall of equipment!" Colourful, accurate, and hysterically funny! I'm still laughing.
This is the only game all season long where I was cheering for the Golden Knights…I feel for them after that very close game and marathon shootout. Logan Thompson is one hell of a goaltender!
My main motive was I needed a Vegas win for the Canucks to make the playoffs.

Great goaltending from both goalies but the players kind of all tried to do the same with just shooting the puck when it clearly was not happening, needed some more deking from side to side action
Love how they’re so hyped on Eichels shootout skill and after they’re like “well….that was sundry” lol
