We are officially on a 1 year clock. If things aren’t drastically improved a year from now, we have to trade Z while he still has term and start rebuilding AGAIN.
Edit: downvote all you want but if we’re not a playoff team next year and Z only has one year remaining after, what chance do we have at signing him? The hard truth is that we would have to explore a trade.

I don’t see any reference to a contract length. Are you all just assuming that the title to the article relates to the contract length? Unless they specifically state the contract length, I wouldn’t assume it’s a 1 yr deal….could be but who knows.
