According to the highlights, the defensive mindsets allowed the ice to open up gaps and Davo + Savvy had alreqdy anticipated them as they both, were on the otherside (especially w/ those rocket boosted strides…skates included)

The hardest championship to win in professional team sport is about to begin. I cannot say who will win, but I will say this: the team that gels the fastest will likely be the Stanley Cup champion. I'm hoping it's the Oilers but I don't know. Even with Leon Draisaitl in the lineup, it may not be enough. The Oilers will need consistent play from everyone, on the bright side Connor Ingram is solid in goal. And almost no one is talking about it. I like the Oilers chances and I think it's a good thing people are not complaining about the Oilers goaltending as much as last season. Things went bad really fast against the Los Angeles Kings in the first round but I doubt this will happen with the Anaheim Ducks. The Oilers have home ice advantage, and last year it was the Kings that had the home ice advantage. It put too much pressure on the Oilers to win.
