Good game, just hope anyone with a vote watched this game.. Josi shouldn’t even be compared to Makar! Makar is hands down the best defenseman in the world today.
Huge confidence booster for Rittich. He has been playing like trash the last few weeks and when we needed him to step up with Saros hurt, he did it. Big time win!
this game is just like that of a video game. the AI still finds a way to beat you by letting sloppy goals go in against you even though you played better the whole time.
For once, Rittich actually did good. Predators were trailing in the first two periods and then they caught up to the Avalanche and beat them in a shootout
I'm an Avs fan, but I don't see them getting past the second round. Again! If they are against the Preds in the first round they won't make to the the second. Wrong time of the year to be playing poorly.
Sad to see the collapse of the Avs. I was starting to feel confident that this team could put together a legitimate cup run. Going into the playoffs possibly losing 7 of 8 is a tell tale sign of what the post season will look like. They have zero momentum even if they figure out a way to beat the Wild. 35 and bad defense have been the problem the last 7 games
This game has been pretty exemplary for the Preds under HC John Hynes. Since last season's strech run they've become an incredibly tenacious squad that just doesn't quit. In overall talent the Avs are surely superior but as the Canes learned last season's playoffs these Preds can hang with every team. I don't like everything that HCJH has implemented here (for instance, all these fights are quite annoying) but they're making the best out of the talent they've got.

Josi might take it this year, but I can't see Makar winning less than 4 or 5 Norris trophies through his career.

Avs are going to get shocked in the first round. Lack of top tier goaltending is a huge weakness.
