Great analysis. There’s just no way of taking any prediction seriously. Nothing would surprise me. The Bruins have to play a sufficating defensive, disciplined game and counter attack.

In short, the way Boston can win this round is play a physical game without taking penalties (as they are prone to do) and clean up their defensive zone turnovers. I can't help but think that since Buffalo faced Swayman only one time this year that it could be a factor in our favor.

Here's what I don't get: why does a 100 point team and the number two home team in the league who have already beat Buf three of four times this season and have better goal tending against a team with little playoff experience have a 39% projected chance to win the series. Lol

We beat them in the season series, twice in OT, and in Buffalo. The fact that The Sabres are #2 in the East means absolutely FUCK ALL to me. How many times as Bruins fans have we seen us take #1 in the conference, and even #1 in the league, followed by losing in the first round? Anyone who's seen enough NHL hockey knows that the regular season is over when the playoffs start – every team completely changes in the playoffs. In addition, the hockey gods love to torture us. The only possible scenario that we have coming is a wonderful, exciting, ecstatic win over Buffalo in shocking fashion, followed by getting smoked in 5 by either the Canadiens or the god forsaken Lightning.
