@Islanders de New York

    I dont know anyone minus verhoff and mckenna and any team that has a shot at them are not trading down

    Imagine we win the lottery back to back years 🤣

    Unfortunately, the one asset we could have best packaged with #13 to move up a few spots was traded for Schenn.

  4. ugghhh, there’s this feeling that’s nagging me……that the Rags are gonna win the lottery and be gifted McKenna.

    I mean it depends who’s left and who they think highly of. Our current prospect pool isn’t as can’t miss as many think… most analysts/sites have us ranked 10-14

    It’s never that black and white. If the scouts like somebody that should be an nhl regular within a year or two, a decision must be made. Will he be there when we pick, or do we have to move up. How much would that move cost? That’s got to factor in too. Will we trade out of the first round entirely? Would you do that for Jason Robertson’s RFA rights?the The Stars are in a cap crunch, and we haven’t had a scorer like him since Pierre Turgeon, or maybe Zigmund Palffy. Again same questions: Is it possible for us? Whats the cost? Mathieu Darche 100% should have a plan for the draft by now, but it can be so rigid that it’s set in stone. A gm has got to be adaptable, that way you can make the most out of what ever opportunities come his way.

    Seattle needs a star in the market.

    The kid I love? Verhoeff from North Dakota. Not sure what the cost for 2nd overall pick would be.
