One thing that really stuck out to me was that the Pinto line finished with a 0% xGF%.
Most people were assuming they’d get put against the Canes top line to shut them, but Rod has begun playing Aho against other teams’ top lines (compared to years past where that was Staal’s responsibility). That left the Stankoven line (who has arguably been the Canes’ best offensive line at 5-on-5), paired with Gostisbehere and Nikishin, to try and take advantage of Ottawa’s depth, and they were kinda able to take over this game. Especially Stankoven himself, easily the best player on the ice today. How that line performs the rest of the series I’m sure will be one of the biggest deciding factors.

Is Linus available on Monday ?
❤. Thanks
Freddy in goal ❤
Jordo dropped Tkachuk with one shot! 😅😅
The called back goal was very much clearly not a goal in one of the angles… The puck never made it to the back of Andersen's glove. Pretty sure it just hit the post and died straight down but it was definitely not a goal to anyone with eyes.
slavin wins the siries
Lets go Canes! Good game and we can be even better
This didn’t feel like a playoff game it was boring to watch
Canes had some puck luck even if they played a solid game. I still think Ottawa will bounce back.
Best team against worst team in playoffs. 4-0 any Ottawa win is shock
Shot auditing equals catering to gambling.
How about Jarvis blocking some shots
This game was a reality check for the Media and Sens fans.
People acting like the Canes ran away with this one. Canes had some puck luck. It honestly could have gone either way.
Made a spontaneous decision to drive out to Raleigh for my first Canes games yesterday… holy crap that was a phenomenal game to be at and an insane environment. Caniacs do not mess around🤣♥️
Ottawa fans: it's not the lucky goals. It's the zero.
Ps: if Travis green like his captain in the penalty box for 5, he's dumber than his captain.
Ottawa should win after the bs
The last two minutes of the game with Jarvis blocking shots was great giving it all. He didn't score but might of prevented a few and helped out Anderson is amazing.
greetings from Denmark 🙂🙂🙂 could you give some thoughts on the 2 danes you have in the squad ? Freddie did not play all the games, is it the coaches plan to rotate the goalies ? how about Ehlers, does he deliver what you expected ? Go Canes
Andersen what a performance!
I still think OTT wins this in 5. But to do so, Tkachuk needs to quit his yapping, and the Sens need to knock it off with the dumb penalties…Oh, right… 🤔…That's how FLA plays. Never mind. By the way – where are the Feral Cats?…Andersen getting lots of flowers for this impressive game. But we've seen this before. Brilliant in one game, brain dead the next. His problem isn't so much lack of skill as it is lack of discipline…
I was watching this game, and just thinking, "Omg, the Wings are lucky they didn't make the playoffs. They are way too soft for this level of physicality.
