I recall really hoping against hope we’d take Brandt Clarke

Yknow hindsight is 20/20 and I still don’t *hate* the Johnson pick. It’s that Ceulemans pick that bothers me, has he even played one game in the league?

  3. I’m not out on KJ yet.

I wish we had developed Sillinger into a more offensive player though.

Ceulemans not even getting a cup of coffee in the league yet is disappointing.

Detroit hasn’t been all that happy with Edvinsson this season and Clarke just barely started getting regular minutes this season. Wallstadt was horrific last season and they wanted to move him.

Development isn’t linear. That guy picked #3 has had a hell of dramatic run the last couple years.

We would have ruined any of those guys like we ruin our own prospects. It’s not the guys, it’s the team.

    Imagine if we got McDavid

  7. I’m not too broken hearted about the two we got.  No need to rush Ceulemans, and KJ just gotta train along with Big Boss.  It’d be great if they’d have sped it along, but we have to give them more time and resources to develop.

Was Wyatt Johnston the best player drafted that year?

Tyler Boucher, Isak Rosen, Sebastian Cossa, Brennan Othmann, Fabian Lysell, Xavier Bourgault, etc also works. The take that CBJ are exceptionally bad at drafting tends to ignore roughly every other team also misses a lot.
