    Something tells me that he had a physical injury as well as some internal demons to work through. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he had a family situation on top of it. Hedman is a stand-up guy and is class through and through, so he’s earned every bit of the respect of the organization to take time to get right.

    The outdoor game was special and worth putting all those « problems » on pause just to get out there to skate. That was a career moment for everyone who played that day, so he earned that spot, regardless of his ability to play that day.

    The few games he did play after that, though, he was somewhat of a ghost and even a drag on the team. I bet Coop saw that and asked him to step away.

    Let’s all wish Heddy the best and to come back with the fire and passion to kick some ass!

    Sucks this is happening for him…he’s such a competitor…you know this is just killing him.
