Permission from whom?
I hope he gets the toronto job instead
vancouver doesnt deserve it
This is how narrow minded the NHL is. Just same recycled names for coach and GM.
So if they hire him they have to trade for his rights then, right? Similar to when we hired Bylsma. Or is this a different case?
look, Vancouver is the exact sort of team that can probably get away with hiring Adams. plan on having him for 3 years doing rosterbuilding and making trades, and secretly (or not secretly, if you’re buffalo) have his replacement ready to step in once you decide it’s time to actually start competing. no shame in it.
Adams and Greenway (we need cap help next year) for future considerations 🤷♂️
I’m just here following the feel good story, so forgive me for being out of the loop, but would someone be able to explain the hate for Adams? Didn’t he essentially build this very cracked roster that’s now competing?

Is Vancouver known for having palm trees?
Palm trees in Vancouver? News to me.
Levi and Kesselring for Hronek (50% retained)?
Kevyn Adams is overhated. Let’s just admit it.
Did his firing light a fire? Clearly. Was he as aggressive as he needed to be? Absolutely not.
But he obviously assembled a hell of a team and made a lot of shrewd moves. He deserves at least a little credit for this run.
Canucks could do worse, especially given where they’re at. They’ve got a rough couple years coming up and having somebody with patience at the helm isn’t a bad idea.

So they have palm trees in Vancouver?
Good for the Canucks. I can’t remember the last time they had a good GM.
Adam’s would be a decent hire. He’s great at accumulating young talent. Thats exactly what Vancouver needs.
I mean smart since full rebuild. Clearly maybe a bad voice but a good GM overall imo
Honestly the guy should be given a job somewhere. It’s his rebuild.
Have at him. See you in the basement again and again and again. He makes a decent rink manager.
Well deserved. Haters going to say otherwise but his scouting drafting and trading were all good to great
