Bro everyone on this page wanted Nils GONE. No one in the league wanted Jones he’s not even in the NHL and you’re making it sound like we missed out on him cause he won an AHL award , Miller is the only ehhh one on here, Drury is bad but not cause of these moves
Miller wasn’t extending for the number Carolina got him at.
We got gavrikov to replace him who did great.
Nils was not breaking into our roster at the time. We’d have eventually lost him to waivers.
Jones is still not in the nhl. He’s an ahl + guy.
This is just crying for the sake of crying.
One of these things is not like the other
This fanbase is unreal. We want these players gone game after game. Constantly complain. But then they score a goal or get an assist for their next team and HOLY SHIT WE NEED THEM BACK NOW.

K’Andre Miller was not fitting this team’s timeline and hadn’t developed beyond a #3. We got 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Morrow for him AND didn’t have to pay him. Gavrikov is better than Miller, and that’s where the money went.
Nils was traded for the pick that became Tarasenko and Mikkola — who were both very good here.
Jones is Jones. If he’s the best offensive d-man in the AHL and still can’t crack a big league lineup, that tells you everything you need to know.
i always knew trading Nils and Jones because “depth” for guys like Vaak and Borgen was a mistake.
