@Penguins de Pittsburgh

  1. As a Pens fan, I believe the Pens can comeback and win the series… they just have to find a way to get younger and faster in the next few days, that's all….

  2. I'm pretty sure Martone is the first teenager to score GWG in their first two playoff games in NHL history, let alone Flyers history.

  3. I don't know… It's weird… I feel like we all have been waiting for them to fall and become what they really are… Worst part is that the crash is going to be hard… Sid is 39 this summer… Malkin is 40, Karlsson 35 etc etc

  4. The Flyers made the playoffs in the 2019-2020 season so sorry bud but try a 6 year playoff drought not 8 years!

  5. As a Penguins fan, it's hard to watch. I will say I'm proud of the Penguins for getting to the playoffs, but I wonder if they simply ran out of gas with their effort to make it into the playoffs. If the Pens get swept or lose in 5 or 6, I am still thankful for the regular season this year. Here's hoping the series extends and home ice is a disadvantage.

  6. Being down 2 doesnt mean anything and we all know that. Its the way they been losing that scares Penguin fans. That 2nd goal with pittsburgh defensemen falling down and hesitating and the pass to an uncovered guy with a gaping net. That was on the cusp of embarassing.

    Stuff happens though. That Martone game winner just bounced right to him, just like Dickinson's tying goal vs Anaheim. Anaheim guy falls down, Eckholm says "sure ill slap this now" and it goes so fast right back to Dickie. Dostal had no chance.

  7. I don’t think it’s skinner fault I think to many blame it on him when in my opinion it’s partly him but a lot of it is defensive issues

  8. Those yellows are about to join to the baby blues. Shame. As a Flyers fan, I thought those jerseys were pretty sweet.

  9. yeah, playing against 1-1-3 defensive turtle teams isnt easy to crack, let philly have their early luck. literally first goal was a lucky bounce and they hunker down with a brick wall on the blue line.

  10. I wouldn't say their ass. They didn't get blown out. They just don't have the answer for the 1 1 3. Two ways to beat it. 1 overwhelm it with speed and 2 play the 1 1 3 against it.

  11. And, at the end of the game, the Pens fell back on their long history of being sore losers – just straight-up trying to injure Flyers players at the end of the game, since it's becoming clear that they can't beat them any other way. Pens did the same thing the last time the Flyers embarrassed them really badly in a playoff series. It's no coincidence, though, that the Pens have not been nearly as successful since Sid stopped being the official face of the League, and the refs started calling the games more evenly. Yeah, I have zero respect for the Pens, their current stars, or anything they have accomplished since the Lemieux days. Going to be very satisfying to watch them get swept! My original prediction was Flyers in 6, but it's looking more like a sweep, because the only solutions to what the Flyers are doing to them on the ice is for the Pens to get younger, and thus faster and stronger than they are.
