The death house was not at center ice. At best it was near the box office.
The wiki doesn’t mention Nationwide arena being on the site of the penitentiary at all:
« The former penitentiary site now sits within the Arena District, with Burnham Square Condominiums, McFerson Commons, and several office buildings and parking garages now standing on the site.[23] »
So I think it was south of Nationwide Blvd and East of Neil

If the name Death House, you think they could have named Ice Haus something a little different that didn’t have House/Haus in it.
At least towards the end of the life of the Ohio Pen, only the employee parking lot is on any part of Nationwide Arena grounds. But with anything that was open for so long, plans and layouts change throughout history

It’s close enough to Nationwide. That being said, I’ve got a LOT of sage, and there’s probably someone that’ll let me into the arena.
