Montreal cannot afford to get suckered into Tampa's game like this. Stand up for yourself sure, but you let them get you mad and you lose the series. That's why they'd trade to bring back a washed up bum like Corey Perry in 2026. He's not there for his offense, that dried up years ago. He's there to throw dirty hits, start fights and make them mad. That's all he's been good for for like 5 years now. The Lightning know the refs will take it easy on them so this is the game they play. It happens every year. If Montreal wants any shot at this, they need to find where the line is between standing up for yourself and falling for bait and getting penalties.
