Not a big deal, the Leafs did it all the time? As the Loosing team!
Being in that building was an INCREDIBLE experience! The loudest hockey game I've ever been to.
It wasn’t a “bad, bad, bad game” until the goal nor do I think Sabres fans felt that way. They only booed the power play because that has underperformed all year, not that I think the booing helps but it needs to be noted that they weren’t booing “the team” or the teams performance as a whole. I think every Sabres fan felt we were the better team throughout the game and that Swayman was sharp and the bruins were fortunate. It took character for them to will that win which the hockey gods tried to give to the Bruins.
I remember the simpsons episode where bart wins the soapbox derby race and was told to act like he had won before. His reply is perfect "I have never won before and I may never win again so I'm gonna celebrate" so I feel for buffalo. Enjoy this win while you can, cause you may never win again!

Sabres fan here, the fans are booing the power play, which is 0 for 28ish.
It's not crazy to boo a team who is literally approaching 0 for their last 30 PP chances…. I think they are 0 for their last 24 or 26 right now.
The gate falling and the crowd politely picking it up and staying behind it is, yes, Buffalo/WNY to a T. If that was another hockey city… would've gotten ugly quick.
We were booing because our power play is 0/25 in our last 25 attempts
um guys tage wasn’t in th playoffs before this year but he was on the olympic team and also won a gold medal in the world juniors pretty sure he had the game winning goal in that game

The Sabres seem to be able to match anyone. Teams have tried to bully them and failed this year and they are faster than most teams they’ll play. They have a real chance if goaltending stands up. Buffalo is going to give offenses some chances because the way the defense pictures on offense. Buffalo is so deep with talent 14 years of missing the playoffs gets you that

Toronto and Buffalo fans will always dunk on each other because deep down the GTA and Western New York are bros and that's what bros do. I am pushing for Buffalo to make a deep run, I couldn't care less about the other Canadian teams honestly.

I do not think the special thing was Tage Thompson scored two times to tie the game. The special thing was what Tage discovered. He found out that he just can impose his will on the opponents and they will crumble. Perhaps not in each and every instance, but that he can do it more often than he can not.
When the Sabres get the power play going, they'll be a force to reckon with, & I'm not talking scoring all the time on the PP, just once can be the difference between winning & loosing. Get more than 1, you can be unstoppable , add your goalie being a wall, & watch out. Go Sabres
Sabers are hot, overrated garbage. Lucky on home ice in game 1. Game 2, learned nothing whatsoever from game 1. Should be over in 6 for the Bs unless swayman really falls apart, but not sure he can go that low. Korpi has to start one of the games. Swayman can't handle this on his own.
