Mr. Ruff, please get rid of your power play coach, please. What the fuck, you have Dahlin and Byram who can shoot the puck from the blue line. Go back to the traditional power play. Get rid of these new nhl trash cycling puck around looking for a sniper. Get the puck through the crow to the net and look for a rebound.
Powerplays are not that complicated. I don't know why Sabres struggles so much. Fuck.
Hate to say it, and I hope I eat my words. I dont think Buffalo is looking like a playoff team. They are fortunate the series is tied 1 – 1. Terrible powerplay and giving up too many grade A chances. Bruins doing a great job neutralizing the Sabres speed. Playoff hockey is a different animal to the regular season.
Pp is powerless. 0 30 something. Tuch, tage, doan, zucker and dahlin should be on the pp. Upl is a high school goalie at best
Zadorov and Peeke are Bs best shutdown pair. They're our second pairing, not the third, IMO. Good series.
Either team could be up 2-0.
What got Buffalo where they are right now? What was their secrets of success? Take a long look at what brought the Sabres to the top. Now utilize those same things that were so successful. This is a turning point. It's up to the team and players to start playing again like you mean it.
Can we support our boys criticism is fine but the amount of straight up hate going on is insane lived in Buffalo my whole life been going to sabers games since I was ten and I don’t talk bad about our guys
It boils down to physical play , when they dominate in a physical manner they score and control the pace ! Playoff teams are physical .
McAvoy did not go for the knees (i e. Not dirty). That used to be a perfectctly legal hip check – still is. it wasn't clipping, either, as that is defined as hitting at or below the knee. Bad call.
The fight was a draw. Like most fights, nobody did any damage
Sabres have better forwards. Bruins have better goaltending.

Should have gave up Norris for Thomas in that St Louis trade. We definitely miss Carrick. Not surprised by UPL, all season it's been great saves and soft goals.
Bruins fan here. Why not just say the Bruins are a better team and Sabres will ultimate be the Sabres. We showed it in the tegular season and about ti show it in the playoffs. Could have saved a lot of time instead of analyzing all the whys…
I think UPL is fine. I want to see what happens in Boston.
