Did Malkin just lose the privilege of playing with Chinakhov? Is Muse just trying to get Kindel going? I don’t know why we’re trying to shuffle forwards again and not scratching Girard or Letang.
Dude has the spirit of Mike Sullivan past possessed Muse??? One of the biggest Penguins storylines all year is how Chinakov was a perfect fit into the system and was elevating his game with Malkin. We are not doing that now for… reasons???

It was undeniable.
EC has not played 1 second of hockey with Kindel & Brazzer. In fact, he and Braz have not shared a single shift.
EC, Kindel, Malkin played 20 minutes to a 23.57%XGF – for clarity, that is abysmal.
Let’s hope these lines are just wrong, and Dan isn’t going to galaxy-brain game 3.

Honestly kind of see the vision with chinakhov and kindel hopefully kindel can create some good chances for chinakhov but I think maybe Girard and shea or st.Ivany would be better than Girard-letang

okay okay im willing to see how this goes but girard and letang i feel like i might die lmao literally sick to my fucking stomach about this game.
We have a grinder type of player on each line which is needed when you are playing against the trap. Dump pucks in past their D, and fight until you gain possession. Spreading big bodies across 3 of the lines might just work.
I know people wanted Geno and Chinny reunited, but I actually love him on the 3rd line. Flyers have the last change at home and they will put their two best groups against the Sid and Geno lines. So Chinny may have some room tonight and we desperately need someone to start getting pucks on net.
I will say this now that I’ve calmed down. Both Brazeau and Kindel are pretty good passers and can all shoot and put the puck in the net. Maybe it might be good.

Switch up Mantha and Chinakhov, I think that will be the lines 1-4. Muse has to start using 3rd and 4th lines more.

It’s going to be fucking insane in that building tonight. Pens needs to weather the storm for the first few minutes. I like Brazeau bringing some size but we’ll see if he actually uses it
