As usual Habs fans are calm, cool and collected. 🙄

  2. PermissionPast853

« Moi je trouve que “Dacher” a amené du jeu physique. Je vais regarder à nouveau le match, mais il a des intentions. Pour moi, ces deux dernières semaines, il joue avec beaucoup de combativité »

Pas coach, mais m’essemble que je me fait gaslight pas pire là.

  3. JPMoney81

So anyone who wanted Dach benched for Gallagher or Veleno or Laine… it’s not going to happen now. Because of the shithead members of our fanbase, the team can’t take him out of the lineup now or it looks like management is supporting those assholes.

  4. Super-Badger-3536

I might crash out if I ever see one of these losers in real life. Remember that even the worse player on the team is still better than the best guy you ever played sports with.

  5. whaletacochamp

That’s right kids. Daddy St. Louis is telling you to STFU and you WILL listen.

  6. snark_enterprises

Beyond the fact that making threats to a player is psychotic behavior. It’s dumb to just blame him for that loss when the entire team couldn’t muster anything in OT.

  7. brennnik09

Did these people even watch the game? We had no shots in OT and a PP right before OT. We had every single chance to close the game out, but the bolts forecheck was too strong. And ffs, Slaf had one of his worst games ever. He literally passed the puck to the bolts before they scored the tying goal. But sure, it’s all Dach’s fault! He’s useless! That must be why!

  8. xCantFindAnID

Ultimately I think there were many reasons we took a L yesterday, definitely icing in OT by Dach didn’t help. This won’t be popular but Slaf also made a terrible giveaway on Kuch’s goal, I think we were in control at that point in time. Lesson learned for him, I’m sure. He will bounce back game 3.

  9. Complete_Water_890

Seriously, the lack of professionalism from the journalists on that zoom call was staggering. Was it the first time they were on a Zoom call in 2026? That was insulting to listen to, let alone be a part of it.

  10. Phil_Dude

I think the right call is to not flinch and keep Dach in the lineup. MSL will figure Jon Cooper out.

  11. thrice311

Off topic, and I apologize… but even the TVA website is obnoxious.

  12. Mother_Love8996

C’est deux jeux en fait, ne pas faire l’effort de passer la rouge pour éviter le hors jeu et être incapable de suivre son joueur par la suite.

  13. pandhav8

Yeah imma get downvoted but the whole team sucked in ot we didnt even shoot 1 puck towards the net.

Dach kapy & zach spent most of the game in the O zone cycling them.

Demidov made the same mistake and slaf’s was arguably worst

    C’est game 2 la gang c’est 1-1 on a volé une game a tampa

  14. HotHits630

Before the Dach mistake, Zero shots on goal did not help, especially well over the half way mark. So who else would sit?

And Slaf’s brilliant move in the third didn’t help.

  15. anacondatmz

Should name and shame these individuals. Forward all threats to the authorities. These ‘fans’ contribute nothing other than going us reasonable fans a bad name.

  16. Minato_is_God

Ain’t no way people are overreacting to the most run-of-the-mill coach defends player comment.

  17. Hahaha you can tell Marty really wanted to be there… So fucking awkward to listen to, what was that lmao

  19. I think everyone needs to calm down.

Before the season ppl were wondering whether we’d be in the playoffs

We’re going toe to toe with arguably the east’s best team, favored for the stanley cup finals

Safe to say we’re ahead of the curve in terms of rebuild

Last thing we should be doing is crucify our players for errors, or work towards scrapping that young team’s morale.

Personally, im perfectly happy with our situation. I havn’t been as excited to watch the team in probably 25+ years. Even when we lose.

    Let them cook ffs!

  20. CorsiGod

My favourite thing about playoffs is everyone saying it’s going to be a 7 game series and then absolutely crashing out when we lose 1 game

  21. Ok-Meet2850

This is a big reason I continue to like Marty on the bench for Montreal. Goes at it with media and calls out BS from fans, too. The players seem to realize he has their backs in lots of situations.

  22. LeditGabil

I tend to think that sport bets are the main thing to point at when it comes to « fans » threatening their « favourite » team’s players for a bad play.

  23. This fanbase has to _always_ find a pariah for every game rather than accepting that sometimes, you get outplayed. If a (tired) Dach hadn’t screwed up a clearing attempt it would have been someone else who made a mistake. The boys were playing tired for the last 30 minutes or so. It’s not the end of the series. It’s playoff hockey. They’ll be back on Friday, make adjustments and hopefully not get pantsed again. But don’t pin this on one person, it’s a fucking team sport.

  24. Moist_Jaguar691

We got a split in Tampa. That’s a huge positive.

It’s stupid mid series to overreact to a loss.
We want our team to win and fan support works vs harassment and fear tactics just look down the road how that worked out.

Young team going to make mistakes, we win the home games, we are good.

  25. MoistTerm

people comparing slaf’s or demi’s mistakes to dach’s is laughable

guy that’s contributed almost nothing offensively in months

    vs

guys that have been some of our top offensive assets the whole year

of course dach will get more scrutiny for making a mistake in a high-stakes context like this. might as well swap him out for a better defensive forward as we know he probably won’t win us games…

  26. deptofknowimsayings

Mistakes happen. They’re a young team. They still need to learn to play in these situations.

The way some people talked about the top line yesterday, or Dach, is disgusting. Those of you who said some vile stuff need to reassess your expectations and just enjoy the ride. That or you need to stop betting on the Habs.

There’s no point in flaming anybody for yesterday’s game honestly. It’ll be okay.
