Wasn’t that the first round? The Devils lost to the Canes in the conference semis.
The rest of the team following him around the ice like a bunch of excited little puppies will always be funny.

I was at a watch party in a bar in New Brunswick, the energy went crazy when it was scored (my poor rangers fan friend came with me)
I remember thinking that this was just the beginning for this group.
Never would have guessed that it could be their zenith.
Further this series went the more important it was to beat the rags as I knew it might as well been impossible to beat a rested canes team
