The Rangers cannot trade themselves into contention. Weakening the D is the WORST thing they can do. Are the Rangers going to get Misa for Schneider? Not likely. Let San Jose sign Raddysh at a very inflated price for their D. Iorio is a non factor. Don't even mention him. Morrow needs more time. Schneider upped his game big time after the break. There are always injuries on D, so depth is a requirement & there is no depth. Rangers are most likely going to draft a D, unless they win the lottery. Fortescue may make the team next year & play with Schneider. Who knows, he looked OK in his brief audition. Drury calls it a retool because he has no patience to stick with the younger players. If he signs a few stiffs in Free Agency I will scream!
