Reichel and Reinhart wanted out of Buffalo, he had to move them. They are not really bad trades. Regardless I would like Ryan Johnson to get GM job though. Luongo? he loves Florida don't see him coming back and don't want him either!
Don't forget buffalo was about to have a fire sale ,then the gm got fired and they instantly became good.

Ownership needs to stay out of hockey ops for anyone coming in to have a chance to succeed. If they are trying to replace both the president and GM positions, the search need to land on a tandem that see each other eye to eye and share common vision of where the team needs to go. We have seen how friction between two key guys (or more) can rip the team apart… it need not happen again at the executive level.
