  1. I love McDavid but this is easily the worst I’ve ever seen him play but I know that he will turn it around and help us bounce back

  2. The Spoilers lost 4-6. Wow! Anaheim scored two power-play goals and one short-handed goal (thanks to McDavid). 😝

The Spoilers had four power-play opportunities but couldn't find the net (thanks to McDavid). 😂McDavid's passes are inaccurate and dangerous for the Spoilers. Two games in a row, Nurse have been picking up stupid penalties that lead to Ducks goals. 😜What a consistent player Nurse is! Ingram with SV = .815 and 5 goals allowed. 🤣 McBush "0"

  3. My goat highkey had an absolute stinker. Gotta recognize that you can't do everything on your own all the time.

  4. They simply concede far too many goals. It can’t be right that you have to score six goals—especially at home—just to win a game. That’s simply too much. In particular, the special teams really need to step it up significantly.

  5. 97 has no points in 2 playoff games. Good thing the new additions are doing very good. Shots on Goal for the Oilers are higher than the Ducks, so it will turn around.

  6. Macdavid is almost 30 years old, his time is running out. I think the Oilers were better with guys like Perry, Hollaway, Broberg and Fogul on their team. I don't see them going beyond round 2. If they get by Anaheim they won't get by Utah or Vegas. Not happening.

  7. I just hope People don’t compare this generation to 80s Oilers. This is a new generation of players. Every team has good and bad games.

  8. Yea they have not looked good in either game. Very sloppy but so has Anaheim. Edmonton better get there game together or they don’t have a snowball chance in hell getting past Colorado or Dallas

  9. Haven’t missed many oilers games the last 11 years. This is the worst I’ve ever seen Mcdavid play by a wide margin. He knows it too.

  10. That fourth goal was a total meltdown by McDavid. He played a no-look pass right into the middle of his own zone, straight to the Anaheim forward, and Nugent Hopkins slowly backed up as if he’d shat his pants. It’s very unusual to see a mistake and reaction like that at this level. It’s worse than in the beer league.

  11. I know 97 is taking a lot of criticism, but where the hell is Nuge? Keep him on the 3rd line, and keep 22 with 97 and 18.

    Savoie – McDavid – Hyman
Podkolzin – Draisaitl – Kapanen (our only line that's going)
    Nugent-Hopkins – Dickinson/Samanski – Roslovic
    Dach – Samanski/Lazar – Frederic

I liked Walman – Bouchard, but I'd probably keep the pairings as is:
    Ekholm – Bouchard
    Nurse – Murphy
    Walman – Emberson

    Ingram
    Pickard

  12. Connor McDavid is fine he's going to be playing tomorrow and the Edmonton Oilers have PLENTY of time to get even in the series ❤
