i would run thru a wall for this man

  3. notimetochoseuserna

We are blessed to have him at helm. If we win a cup in the next 4-5 years, there’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll be a massive part of us getting there.

I know its media relation 101, but MSL is never going to say anything bad about anyone.

Kirby Dach make a terrible mistake. MSL: « Yeah, its a mistake, but hes been progressing »

Fan send him insult. MSL « I dont know, we need them too »

Its the kind of guy thats going to be crazy scary if anything happen to really piss him off.

I’d wager those that did the harrassing aren’t real Habs fans, mostly bots, shit head Americans and Leafs fans. Dach is solid.

  6. I wish they could track down the people who threaten players and ban them from the stadiums and team events.

Then have the team publically denounce them on social media.

They should be publicly shamed at minimum

  7. surebudd

That’s a leader. Point out the wall Marty, I’ll run through it.

  8. Majestic-Monk9041

Him being our coach against Tampa Bay is somewhat ironic when they keep throwing Hagel camp at us

    He is not a hater.

I think Dach is certain to be in the lineup today.

    Probably for the whole series.

Dach has not played well this year.

But the criticism of him last game was ridiculous.

The icing play was not that bad.

He should have made a pass to Texier, but it was not something egregious.

The play at the blue line was a bad play, but if he had done better in rushing the guy with the puck, the guy would have gotten a shot on net, his shot on goal was really good.

I think the sweeping motion of Dach looked lax, but he could not have gotten the puck from the player.

They were all tired in overtime.

He is not that good, but a lot of people don’t like Dach, and the criticism of him was excessive for that reason.

Si nos joueurs commencent à avoir peur de faire des erreurs, on va pas jouer mieux, on va juste figer et stagner. Nos joueurs ont besoin de soutien, dans les bons comme dans les mauvais moments. Vive St-Louis!

Man the high quality involved emotionally regulated dad energy is off the charts with this guy.

  12. just_matt85

This man is a treasure. Goon on you Marty, the cheeky fkn smile too.

  13. thebestnames

I hope the crowd cheers especially loud for Dach tommorow. The guy did not deserve that kind of hate from « fans » of the team, nobody does. I know we’re a lot better than that as a fanbase and need to show it.

  14. defineloser

Literally maybe the perfect thing to say.

  15. Ted Lasso could have been written about MSL!!

  16. TroubledMarket

It looks bad to not dress him because of what happened on instagram, but dach has 0 sog, 0 shot attempts, 0 point, and not the most physical guy either.

It might energize Dach and we might see him play very well on Friday, but a player shouldn’t need outside motivation to be good game 1&2 of the playoffs.

  17. larryhabster

He knows all the answers. When he finally retires, Marty for PM!

  18. Would be nice if Canadiens did it again. But we all know it’s the Sabres this year.

  19. Clustahhh

honestly shitting on dach doesnt help us at all

  20. Ajay_Bee

Can’t say enough just how lucky this organization is to have Marty leading the bench. If/when this team wins a championship in the next 5 years, it’s going to be extra satisfying watching him raise that cup.

100% right here – the vitriol directed at Dach isn’t helping – players aren’t perfect, they’re going to make mistakes. Especially in a sport that’s unbelievably difficult to play, especially in the post-season, and especially when it’s against a very similar and very tough opponent.

We all need to take a breath when things invariably go sideways. The playoffs are a massive test of endurance.

Fans when they forget that the best players can still lose and make mistakes:

Can we not storm players social media just to being them down please? I don’t understand why anyone would even feel the need to do that.

  23. Habsfan_1984

Honestly I hope Dach is in the lineup, we all know that no one feels worse than him. He knows he made a mistake and I bet he’s hoping for the chance to redeem himself.

Today’s society has such a huge problem with cyber bullying and keyboard warriors. I wish that anyone who threatens anyone online would be instantly charged and held accountable.
