The Avs need to clean up their turnovers in their own zone. Too many times defensemen are trying to neutralize the puck and end up giving it back to an opposing forward that’s crashing the net. Overall, defenses looked much better in second and third periods so that’s a plus. Penalty kill is also still looking solid compared to what it looked like in December and January.
the kraken have looked way improved since the deadline even if the games don’t matter for them and some of their opponents they look much much better and i believe if they have a great off season and draft right in the first round they will already rise up a lot next year
If the Avs, and specifically Frankie, had played a full 60, they probably get this one. Flat start plus some good work by Grubauer and the Kraken equals a well-earned win for them.
Avs went half speed tonight for rest. Take the mercy win Seattle. Glad to see some people smiling in that absolute shithole of a city though. That’s the power of hockey!
Come on, guys, if Avalance did not chill to rest up until playoffs, they woulda slaughter them. However, suitable for the Krakens, it was a FUN game to watch.

I always wonder why the avs can compete against strong teams and do well and then they struggle when they play teams with losing records.
That's why playing an outta the playoffs bottom feeder is no gimme they haven nothing to lose and go guns ablazing
