I can think of one person that needs to go….
That headline making it seem like the presser was 10 seconds long
Sweeping front office changes are needed to start
Kris Draper should be fired
Any connection to the 90’s/2000’s Red Wings needs to go
There needs to be dramatic moves to shake up the culture to start, and the leadership group.
The entire bottom-6 should be gone.
I think if any changes are going to be made first, it should start with the carry-overs from the Holland-era front office.
I’d be happy with anything. New GM, new captain, new roster entirely minus a handful of players. 10 years of misery and woe
I have absolutely no desire to see anyone in the bottom six return.
Ship them off to the Andromeda Galaxy for some space rocks for all I care. Send them to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Norway in exchange for some rare heirloom tomatoes.

I’d like to see Yzerman take accountability for his failures. No more « I didnt get a chance to talk to the player » or asking prices are high. Other GMs can do it, he should be able to as well. He needs to be more aggressive. I hope we dont see another presser at the beginning of next season where he claims he couldn’t do anything and the team might not make the playoffs again

Quite the statement, coming from the guy who traded FOR a player who was on the IR at the time of the trade. Also same guy he LET walk a couple seasons ago.
It’s like he surprised Compher stinks. Yet signed him to a 5 year deal.
It’s like he’s surprised an aging JVR fell off a cliff. It’s like he’s surprised Mason Appleton brought literally nothing to the table.
That’s a hell of a comment from the person who assembles the team itself
I wish we’d package Larkin up and make a blockbuster trade. Honestly I’d be fine with anyone on the chopping block besides Mo and Cat. But that’s just a wish. My prediction is; we’ll make 3 or 4 snooze fest UFA signings, we’ll continue to over cook Cossa and Augustine in the farm system while we scratch our heads about goaltending, loose atleast one semi-key player for next to nothing for no fuckin reason, and then start next season like nothing ever happened and declare “it’s time for the young guys to take those next steps”.
