Pittsburgh fans, media, and the team are criticizing the officiating because this is the first time in the Crosby era that they are not being given preferential treatment, which they incorrectly view as unfair. It is, in fact, the equality that they don't understand. And for Crosby to act like he didn't embellish… he knows he did.
