2011 was by far the worst by the fact that the Canucks had home ice, home ice señors y señoras, in Game 7. Losing on home ice in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals? Nothing could be worse than that for any Stanley Cup Finals run.
Vancouver's drought started when they lost the spin and were not given favourable expansion offerings. Toronto's drought started when they were champions of the world.

It's just a result of the Americanization of hockey and Bettman's McNHL. His main goal was to strengthen the American teams and weaken the Canadian teams. He knew that Canadians willc ontinue to watch hockey even if their teams are weakened, while Americans will not – because the game isn't sacred to them. It's just another franchisable product, like hamburgers.

The biggest sore thumb in the Vancouver Canucks franchise is easily Francesco Aquilini. That nosy delinquent is the damn reason why the Canucks cannot have a solid foundation to get the team in the right direction because he always sticks his nose into everything. And, surprise-surprise, he is genuinely an awful person. No wonder, why Trevor Linden left this organization when he was working in the front office. He may not have been qualified, but is that really says something about the owner when even franchise legends don't want to be around you.
I learned my lesson in 2011. I don't watch the NHL or the WWE, both for the same reason.

10:00 I think we're more tortured than buffalo, cause the first time we lost, we were just outplayed, but in 2011, we should have won the cup, but the reffing was probably the worst the NHL had ever seen. the was one ref that reffied every game in vancouver, because he lived in Penticton. However that one ref was not quite on how he felt. He HATED the Vancouver Canucks and The Boston Bruins was his favorite team. and he made that known both on and off the ice. His social media was filled with how he hated the canucks and loved the bruins. He did whatever he could to get vancouver to lose, including penalties that made absolutely zero sense, and made sure boston got away with pretty much murder.
We are also tortured because we probably have the worst management of ANY NHL TEAM.
Also the riots were planned and most weren't even canuck fans. They planned the riots to happen, no matter who won, if boston won they'd wear canuck jersey's and riot, if canucks won they'd wear boston jersey's and riot. There was several people that lead these riots whose sole job was to create riot and other things like it.

The concourse is so tight / packed because of the buildings narrow footprint, being crammed between the skytrain, traffic viaducts and our football stadium. Personally I’ll take it for the fantastic downtown location

The narrow concourses suck, but I found Montreal even worse. But as others mentioned, the location of the arena is great.

I love Vancouver but hate Canucks fans . Granted I'm an Oilers fan but the obnoxious arrogance and swagger they get when the team is good is among the most annoying in the league. They also dissappear when the team is bad . I feel for them though , Aquilini is a horrible owner and that franchise is going to be in trouble for a long time
You need to go to a preds game in Nashville. I have been lucky enough to travel for a few games to see my favorite team and from that experience I think nashville has the best experience. Even for a visitor teams fan

'94 was an incredible run by a really likeable and talented Canucks team that fought right to the bitter end (who knows what could have happened if Nathan Lafayette's crossbar shot had gone in). I have game 7 on DVD and even to this day, I watch it and get caught up in the buzz, hoping the Nucks will win it. Chills! In 2011, the Canucks were EXPECTED to win the cup… they won game 2 of the final DURING MY BIRTHDAY PARTY… FREAKING EXCITING! Alas, the disappointment that followed STILL hurts… I don't think I'll ever get over it… and for that, I will forever hate the Bruins. (I was in my early 20s in 1982, but I had zoned out and didn't watch any of that improbable run to the final against the Isles.) IMHO, 2011 and the Messier fiasco of the mid 90s share the bottom of the Nuck pit of darkness.
