love Brady but time to trade, we saw the best he has to offer this year……2nd liner at best. We could get top dollar for him now, or nothing later
Guys you gotta admit I've been here all along talking about how Brady is not it. Look how useless he has been in the playoffs, this isn't a big game guy and he's the wrong allocation for those dollars. I haven't even been commenting because even though the sens squeaked in to a playoff spot I expected we would get ousted like this, the offensive ability has never been there with this roster. We've seen them have problems with finishing for years and they just don't seem to get the bounces but when you don't get bounces that often it's something else. The first issue though for me is Brady because he's an expensive contract and he's also a net negative player. Takes bad penalties, minimal offensive skill, loses puck battles all the time and is also a pod cast influencer who is a distraction for the team. Ready for a change and if we don't get it I'll just stay disengaged till we do. I'm pretty tired of beating this dead horse.
disappointing but man there are so many in this fanbase who just jump right to "tear it down, everybody sucks" we are losing one goal games to the second best team in the entire league here. sucks and youd like to see more of a battle and at least have a chance to be in it but settle down people. we have a good team and this is going to be a hell of a learning experience for them. couple tweaks to the roster for sure and try again next year.
right now i am questioning a little bit the forward deployment mid game, and the roster choices on D.
How Cam Crotty got into last nights game while Yakemchuk was available is a little bit on a brain tickler. and I realize that the group of forwards got us to this stage, thats great, we can't put the biscuit into the basket right now. Time to grindup the lines and get the AHL leading scorer in the lineup. unfortunately, we missed the window of time to sit the players that dont seem focused or interested in last nights 2nd period, to lean on the guys who showed up to play the game. If im Claude Giroux this has got to be some of the most demoralizing efforts seen.
last one, is Thomas Chabot ever playing just sound hockey? i nervous as hell everytime he has the puck, and he is consistently chasing it defensively. my guy is a -5, i think we give these reigns and icetime to Spence in game 4. because its been rough watching Chabot. mind you – ive been team trade chabot for a long time now, we should have kept Chychrun.

Can’t blame the players. Ottawa is not a playoff calibre team and not built for the playoffs. Detroit and Washington are much better and Ottawa only made it here because of having an easy schedule after the olympics. The smartest thing this team can do is do a full rebuild. Trade Brady and stutzle. Load up on picks and build properly. Anyone saying Ottawa has not been utterly dominated for 2 playoff series in a row is just delusional.

This is not a knee jerk reaction to what has happened in the playoffs, but the Senators need to trade Brady in the off season. Since the olympics he's been playing like he does not want to be here any longer. I'm hoping any American based team wins the lottery. Maybe the Sens can fleece one of these teams to give up the number 1 pick. We need another scoring winger and a stud defenceman.
I Was at the game and it was electric! The crowd was wild ! I think it even scrambled them the first shift , think the lads have to play like it’s over and relax, dump and chase with heavy hits ! Refs where awful the past two games calls we haven’t seen all year
Carolina doesn't give you much time or space. That's their main strength I think.

Glad to hear it wasn’t Ross starting the Freddie chants😂. You could see at the start of the game the Sens were all over the place and were nervous. Who is our power play coach? Alfi?. The organization needs to make some tough decisions to get this team to the next level. I am happy for Ullmark playing like a stud. Going to game 4 but it’s a drag we’re down 3-0. Good effort by the boys but something is wrong with the offence and power play. Giving the puck back to Carolina has to stop and coaching needs to correct this.GSG

Unfortunately there's going to have to be changes made to this core we can't run it back a 3rd time with them. There's no killer instinct not saying you go out and try to injure players but it's the playoffs teams should be losing guys and the Sens are losing games and guys meanwhile the Canes aren't even playing that hard and still winning and the Sens aren't even playing physically all the Canes are still fully healthy how is that happening
As a canes fan I’m confused on what brady tkachuck is doing. I feel like he’s more concerned with being a tough guy than actually making a real impact on the series
It feels like he watched his brother against us and just thought it would be easy for him
I also feel like we learned that lesson last year and know to not let it stuff like that get us off our game
It’s almost like it not working is hurting Brady’s game and focus more than anything
All I have seen from him is him trying to rile us up. Then when it doesn’t work he takes stupid penalty after stupid penalty
