Sorry but it’s over, averaging 1 goal per game this series so far means the goalie on average needed to get a shutout every game

Games only close because Linus. Canes ran them over game 1 Ulmark just stood in his head. Game 2 one good period and bad wiff by Anderson made it closer. But tonight they got bossed around in their own house. If Aho line feels anything good Saturday it will be ugly.
It's funny to hear the same kind of sentiment that Brind'Amour said about the 2023 ECF (that the games were closer than the 4-0 sweep would make you think but that's all people are going to remember), the same thing that Canadian hockey media mocked with "it wasn't a sweep!" (which Brind'Amour never actually said). If the Canes end up winning another one-goal game in game 4 and complete the sweep, maybe Sens fans will have to rethink their opinion on that.
Ottawa isn't a good team
Now we can see. people say goaltending wins playoffs, but that’s only true if the offense actually shows up. The Sens left Ullmark out to dry. They can’t win games on big saves alone if they don't put the puck in the net. I feel so bad for him. He deserved better.
I just want to thank Craig Button for picking Ottawa to win the series ahead of game 1. I can always trust that his prediction is wrong

If by “make it a series” you mean avoid the sweep then yes but it isn’t looking good. The Sens are getting top-class goaltending but can’t muster any kind of offense.
There's nothing close about this series. Sens haven't scored any power play goals. Tim "Jimmy" Stutzle and that other Tkachuk brother have put up zero goals. Carolina had bossed the Sens in their own zone. Andersen is not giving up rebounds and the defense is clearing with ease.
Look at the 5 on 3 in game 3. Carolina wirh 3 skaters just dominated. Lmao at this host saying it's close. 😂

Not sure who this guy is but you can't sit there and say the series feels closer than 3-0, then literally the next breath say the Senators offense has been abysmal. Once Carolina gets a lead their MO is to focus on defense and they do it extremely well.

They were cooked as soon it was clear it is Canes first round. They put up a fight and will keep doing that, Ulmark is too hot for there not to be a fight, but it is just not going to happen.
