Flyers have been playing like this since Feb. This is not a surprise to Flyers fans. Defensively they have been locking teams down!
Flyers are real deal. they are a problem for teams that lack real superstar talent. carolina doesnt really scare you superstar wise, their system is what does it

biggest problem they have is Carolina is what Philly is hoping to be in a couple years. Carolina got the same type of team but deeper and more experienced. Philly is good up and coming team but they will get that example of what level they need to get to the same way Canes had to go through that versus Florida. I expect Canes in 5 or 6.

The worst thing for the Flyers late season surge, is to have played the Penguins first round. May have doomed them to suffer the same fate, if they’re not careful.

Look at The Athletic's trend graph of every team during the regular season. 2 teams look like they turned on the jets just to make the playoffs, and I mean BIG TIME ASCENDANT – the Flyers and the Kings. Both team have played extremely well but the difference is the Flyers get to play the same-number-of-points Pens, while the Kings unfortuantely get the Avs
